Writing, writing, writing.
Once again, I haven’t done anything I had planned this week, aside from writing. I spent the entire week working on the script for scene 38. And… once again it has grown bigger than I envisioned. The script is now 7000 words long, and it’s still not complete. I think I need maybe 500 to a thousand more words to finish it.
The good news is I’ve been working on both the first and the second draft at the same time. Of these 7000 words, I’ve already corrected and refined about 5000 words. So these are definitive.
I’m going to need a couple more days, maybe three, to complete the script and refine it. And it will most likely end up in the 7500 to 8000 range. It’s a lot more than the 5500 words I had planned. A longer script means I will need more renders to illustrate it. I’ll probably need something like 260 shots to properly illustrate that scene, with three characters in scabrous positions to pose most of the time… It’s going to be a lot of work. I hope it’ll be worth it.
So.. I haven’t post-processed scene 37, and I haven’t touched the introduction or the demo thing either. All of that is postponed until I’m done with the writing, as I simply can’t focus on anything else as long as I haven’t properly gotten it out of my head.
The quick sum up.
- V0.6.8 will contain 4 scenes: Day 6 Scenes 36, 37, 38, and 39.
- Day 6 Scene 36 has been written, posed, rendered, post-processed, and coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 37 has been written, posed, and rendered.
- 371 shots are planned, 371 are posed, 371 are rendered, and 188 are post-processed.
- 19 439 words of new content so far.
- 2 222 lines of code.
- 2 tracks are ready.
- I’m currently writing scene 38.
