Scene 38.
This week has been largely dedicated to posing scene 38. And I’ve reached shot #40. That number is pretty low, but it’s not completely representative of the work I’ve done.
In my previous dev update, I mentioned that I planned fewer shots than usual for this scene and that I might add some more into the cut if I noticed any weak spots in the storyboard during the posing. Well, that’s pretty much what has already happened. I reached shot #40 out of 240 on my initial cut, but I’ve actually posed 51 images. I simply don’t edit my shot count, because it would be uselessly time-consuming and painful.
As of shot #20, Cassie has entered the bedroom, and the scene has officially become a pain to work on. Her boobs are majestic. And every time she makes the most insignificant move, I have to embark on a dForce simulation, or her gorgeousness pokes out of her top. And she won’t lose that top for another 160 shots… Eve has a similar issue, but being slightly less busty, it leaves me with a lot more leeway. I’m thinking of reducing the quality of the simulations, in a desperate attempt to save some time. I might pay for it later, though.
I started rendering the scene and reached shot #7 (That’s actually 10 renders). So far I’m happy with the quality. It’s not really a surprise, though; I already used that setup numerous times in this update, so I know what to expect.
The music.
I have a good lead on a third track. Specifically for scenes 36, 37, and 38. I initially wanted to give each scene its own tracks with a different mood and ambience. But if I absolutely love working on the music, I have to get real: it would take too much time.
So I’m going to use the same tracks for all three scenes. They are all composed of a discussion sequence and a love sequence. Two tracks should be enough to set the mood across the entire spectrum of maledom scenes, at least for this update.
The quick sum up.
- V0.6.8 will contain 4 scenes: Day 6 Scenes 36, 37, 38, and 39.
- Day 6 Scene 36 has been written, posed, rendered, post-processed, and coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 37 has been written, posed, and rendered, coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 38 has been written.
- 642 shots are planned, 411 are posed, 378are rendered, and 188 are post-processed.
- 21 341 words of new content so far.
- 2 222 lines of code.
- 2 tracks are ready.
- I’m currently working on posing scene 38.
