Scene 38.
Some good progress this week. Posing has reached shot #96 (which actually represents 112 images). However, the shots I’ve gone over so far have been fairly easy to deal with, and it’s about to change as the scene switches from discussion to action.
Rendering is also slowly progressing. The first 48 shots have been rendered.
The soundtrack.
I think track 3 is ready. I didn’t manage to get the cheesy yet oppressive feeling I wanted, but I think I made something good enough.
So, let’s make a quick recap. So far I have three new tracks to go with this update.
- 1 instrumental to go with the hallway part of the scenes (And I will most likely reuse that track elsewhere in the game)
- 1 song to go with the dance sequence, that I’ll use both in this update and in a previous Day 6 moment.
- 1 instrumental to go with the intimate sequences of the maledom branches.
How many more do I need?
- 1 instrumental for the discussion parts of the maledom scenes.
- 1 instrumental for the discussion parts of Cassie’s love paths scenes.
- 1 instrumental for the sexy parts of Cassie’s love paths scenes.
So… three more to go. I should be able to reuse most of those tracks to illustrate other scenes, as long as they share the same mood.
Other stuff.
I also spent some time working on some more UI stuff, mostly oriented toward building a demo version of the game. And as a matter of fact, I did complete a build and uploaded it on Itch. After a couple of hours on the store, Itch deindexed it. I emailed their support.
The quick sum up.
- V0.6.8 will contain 4 scenes: Day 6 Scenes 36, 37, 38, and 39.
- Day 6 Scene 36 has been written, posed, rendered, post-processed, and coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 37 has been written, posed, and rendered, coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 38 has been written.
- 642 shots are planned, 467 are posed, 419 are rendered, and 188 are post-processed.
- 21 433 words of new content so far.
- 2 222 lines of code.
- 3 tracks are ready.
- I’m currently working on posing scene 38.
