The development.
I have reached shot #172. I’ll need one more day to pose the last 11 shots.
Rendering-wise, I resumed rendering a couple of nights ago, and I should be able to finish rendering scene 37 in the coming week. 116 shots have been rendered so far.
Next week, I’ll most likely code scene 37 before moving to writing scene 38.
Wilson.
On Tuesday, I learned of the passing of WilsonWonka. You may know him as the developer of The Hellcat Lounge.
He was a friend.
I met Wilson on my Discord during the very first days of my adventure as an AVN dev. He was one of my earliest supporters and was always incredibly kind and encouraging.
The last time we spoke, he told me how much he loved Summer Scent and motivated me to keep working on it, saying he would be happy as long as I was happy doing so. That was months ago, and, of course, I had no idea those would be the last words we would ever exchange.
Since then, I’ve been reading and re-reading our old conversations over and over again. He was a tremendous artist and a great human being. He was my friend, and now that he is gone, I miss him. I’m not sure how to deal with a world in which he won’t pop online anymore. I’m going to need some time.
The quick sum up.
- V0.6.8 will contain 4 scenes: Day 6 Scene 36, 37, 38, and 39.
- Day 6 Scene 36 has been written, posed, rendered, post-processed, and coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 37 has been written, posing is ongoing.
- 371 shots are planned, 360 are posed, 304 are rendered, and 188 are post-processed.
- 12 416 words of new content so far.
- 2 tracks are ready.
- I’m currently posing and rendering Scene 37.
