We are getting closer.
The posing of scene 38 is complete, and about 15 images are left to render. I’ll have a few shots to correct in post-processing, but I don’t expect to have any spot rendering to do.
I haven’t yet completed the last track I need for this update, but I worked on it quite a bit this week, and I made some good progress. I have a solid basis, and I think I can do something decent with it.
What’s left to do?
Let’s make a to-do list.
- I need to finish that last track. I don’t know how much time that will take.
- The post-processing. As I said, I have a few shots to correct in scene 38, but I don’t expect any issues here, for both scene 37 and 38.
- Coding. Scene 38 first, so that I can send it to my proofreader. And then finish everything once he is done with it. This will most likely be my priority next Monday. The SFX part should be simple, as there isn’t much more than a few knocks on a door to add.
- I have some more design and code work to do on the credit roll and the end screens. I do want to make a proper credit roll, at some point, with some images and stuff, but this isn’t about that.
After all that, I will most likely beta test the build for a couple of days. If we don’t uncover any issues, we’ll have a release candidate. I think I can deal with most of this in the coming week. The only enigma is that last track. I don’t know how much time it’ll take.
The quick sum up.
- V0.6.8 part 1 will contain 3 scenes: Day 6 Scenes 36, 37, and 38.
- Day 6 Scene 36 has been written, posed, rendered, post-processed, and coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 37 has been written, posed, and rendered, coding phase one is complete.
- Day 6 Scene 38 has been written.
- 640 shots are planned, 640 are posed, 625 are rendered, and 188 are post-processed.
- 21 460 words of new content so far.
- 2 222 lines of code.
- 3 tracks are ready.
- The next step is coding scene 38.
